“The Future is Pissed” performance was made possible by The Howard Gilman Foundation (Gillman). It is an improvised work inspired by Arts for Art 2024 OUT FESTIVAL “The Future is Pissed!” The work pulled from  “Up/right” is the third solo of the Finding Herstory Project, which was born out of  Stephen Petronio Company 2021 Bloodlines(future) Program commission of “Finding Herstory.” The creative development of  "Up/right" was made possible by Princeton University Research Assistance funding, the Wassaic Project through a grant from NYSCA, and funding from the Howard Gilman Foundation Bronx Council on the Arts Bronx Cultural Vision Fund (BCVF), which aims to provide a meaningful level of support to emerging and mid-career performing artists and performing arts organizations for the express purpose of developing new ideas and producing new work. Davalois Fearon Dance is fiscally sponsored by Unique Projects Inc., a New York State not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization administered by Pentacle/DanceWorks, Inc.
